Well is been almost a month now since i had turned 30 years old <june 16th!> when i was younger i used to think turning 30 was the end of the world it officially meant you were getting old. Everyone says its down hill from 30. why? When i turned 30 i felt no different than i was at 29..i didn’t have a big melt down and evaluate my life and what i haven’t accomplished… I do notice that a lot of stuff i used to get excited about i don’t care for anymore…but i think that may be cause i got too many bills to pay.. and other worries than carefree worries of a younger person.. but i do wish i had the knowledge i have now like 10 years ago.. I guess the best thing about getting older is getting smarter..if you allow yourself to… so don’t be afraid of 30… now 40.. that sounds old…

   Well all I’ll say is that it’s been a few years since I turned 30 and I can honestly say that I realized like half way that I was not 21 anymore. The bones really do tell a story…..wow! I thought at 15 that I could not wait until I reached this point and I want 15 back! I appreciate the bittersweet-ness for the extra acquired wisdom that I’ve gained along the way and did not have at 21. It always seem to be that once you turned your 30s you were considered old. I didn’t experience a “meltdown” either but did look at my life from where I was up to this point. Some things I would take back, so I’d do differently while others I would not change at all. I just took it as a part of growing up, not growing old. Realizing that I can’t go backward….only forwards. Thanks for letting me ramble! Continued blessings and progression.
